The position supports NCU/W, Corporate Security. The position provides essential administrative, accounting and security services supporting CFATS compliance, security incidents, investigations, training/awareness, executive protection, case management, travel security, etc. Maintains the group s core systems and tools such as site security representative (SSR) and information protection officer (IPO) rosters, site lists and maps, vendors, requisitions, assets/equipment, etc. This position interfaces with region and area security managers, site managers, site security representatives (SSRs), information protection officers (IPOs), executives and administrators, security vendors, procurement, information services, accounts payable, tax, legal, real estate, government and law enforcement authorities. This position is needed to improve consistency and drive efficiency within the Corporate Security function. Responsibility% of timeSecurity - Support region s Corporate Security team comprised of director and five region managers by performing specialized tasks and responsibilities applying established processes related to security incidents, investigations, training/awareness, executive protection, case management, travel security, etc. Maintains the group s core systems and tools such as site security representative (SSR) and information protection officer (IPO) rosters, site lists and maps, regulatory compliance status and details, risk ratings, audit findings status, vendors, requisitions, assets/equipment, etc. 50Reporting Manage monthly G4S (guard service provider) invoice collect input from 45
sites, confirm accuracy, submit for approval and process within designated time period. Consolidate G4S (guard service provider) performance against KPIs for region on quarterly basis. Coordinate enrollment of newly appointed SSRs and IPOs in eLearning and annual SSR training. Track training completion. Prepare and submit fraud and theft report. Compile and distribute periodic security incident reports. Create ad hoc incident reports at request of Corporate Security team. Compile, edit and distribute monthly highlights report.30Provide administrative support to team:
team calendar, communication and transmittal of documents, maintaining various project logs and databases, including extraction and compilation of data from those sources; document control records retention.7Perform office and personnel related duties, such as event planning, ordering supplies and services, and processing BASF employee transactions (computers, network access requests, travel, training, meetings, etc.)7Support NCU administrative staff on an as-needed or backup basis. Support Crisis Management drills and events (nature of event will direct level of support).6 The incumbent performs in a role representing various degrees of complexity and necessitates a higher level of organizational skill, composure, and savvy. The work material (e.g., investigations or incident response) often involves high-level, sensitive matters that require sound judgment and discretion when handling. Though many projects and tasks are routine and repetitive, the nature of security incidents and matters is they are unique and unpredictable mandating a higher level of analysis than routine administrative tasks. The security specialist receives direction and guidance from the Director, Corporate Security to help him/her prioritize workload and manage responsibilities. Must also possess self-starter and team-player skills to ensure maximum coordination among Corporate Security team. Once core responsibilities are explained and understood, the security specialist will work independently to accomplish tasks, identifying and creating networks and resources as needed. The incumbent manages the team s main phone line and at times could be required to make decisions and direct calls to bring immediate assistance to the caller decision quality and ability to perform coolly in high pressure situations is essential. Incumbent interacts on a daily basis with members of the Corporate Security team, global counterparts, all levels and functions in the organization, external security consultants and providers, government and law enforcement, etc. Non-Financial Oversees and provides administrative support to approximately 18-20 security-related consulting firms and contractors.
