IT Business Analyst

Job Purpose:
The IT Business Analyst is responsible for engaging with both the business users and technology team to elicit and communicate the spectrum of requirements associated with software product changes and enhancements. As part of our Software Engineering team the IT Business Analyst has primary responsibility for ensuring the smooth and consistent delivery of high quality requirements. The right candidate must be a results-oriented team player who focuses on ensuring all key stakeholders provide or obtain the details surrounding the requirements to be successful. The individual must be able to communicate with the non-technical and technical teams to manage expectations and ensure high-quality, consumable results.
The IT Business Analyst must be an expert facilitator who can execute meetings that are crisply focused on topic. The Analyst will be able to articulate business processes and interactions between process and systems through formalized written formats including but not limited to SIPOC, Swim Lanes, and sequence diagrams. The analyst will be able to effectively communicate complex concepts through both verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Create business process flow, SIPOC, sequence, data flow and context diagrams
Facilitate analysis sessions to elicit functional and non-functional requirements
Document Business, Functional, Non-Functional and Technical requirements within JIRA
Document meetings in Agendas, Meeting Minutes and action items.
Maintain workload and time tracking within Jira
Develop decomposition trees to create and maintain requirements gathering plan
Provide work estimates to project planners
Manage project scope to ensure team activities remain focused on the defined goals
Schedule interactions and drive activities to accomplish deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

Years' experience or equivalent knowledge in IIBA defined Business Analysis role
Hands on experience creating diagrams to facilitate requirements elicitation and communication
Knowledge of Use Case modelling
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including experience working in waterfall and agile environments.
Familiarity with Pharmacy operations and technology a plus
Experience with Requirement Management Tools
Knowledge of established industry standards and emerging technologies.
Experience with process mapping and process improvement
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.
IIBA Certification a plus
Experience with Office Suite and Visio
Familiar with Microsoft Project and project management activities
