Enterprise Architect
Job Purpose:
The Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for facilitating the process of developing the IT systems architecture to support the business strategy in collaboration with business and technology leadership. The EA links the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its IT strategy, and documents this using multiple architectural models or views that represent how the current and future needs of an organization will be met. Strong communication and organizational skills are required, as is a strong analytical approach to solving problems.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the creation of the overall strategy and architecture related to enterprise systems and technologies with business and technology leadership.
Assist in enterprise wide research, evaluation, design and testing of new technologies that improve and enhance Enterprise Systems reliability, availability and serviceability.
Develop, maintain, and improve architectural artifacts, including reference architectures, future state architecture, guiding principles, roadmaps, patterns, standards, etc.
Collaborate with Applications & Enterprise information management team to ensure that technology decisions align with the overall Enterprise Architecture Roadmaps.
Participate in solution engineering of enterprise initiatives.
Review and guide the alignment of project bases solution architectures to the target future state architecture.
Maintain an organization-wide view of current and future business and application needs in support of company goals and objectives.
Facilitate the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns and IT best practices.
Keeps abreast of healthcare industry trends in addition to technology trends.
Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Must have 7
years of IT and at least 3
years working as Enterprise Architect
Must have extensive working experience with Microsoft technologies.
Experience migrating environments to a virtualized environment (cloud), Microsoft Azure strongly preferred.
Excellent knowledge of database solutions, application integration and architectural patterns.
Proficient in best practices in multiple technology domains,
Demonstrated expertise in technology trends
Track record of delivering enterprise solutions to achieve business operational objectives.
Expertise in defining of IT Standards, Policies and Procedures
Positive and customer service attitude while interacting with users and external customers
Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries a plus
Knowledge of General Project and Product Management Methodologies & Tools preferred
