Job Description:

Our growing Technology, Information, Communications & Entertainment Media (TICE) practice provides management, technology and risk consulting services to help a diverse set of clients around the world anticipate and address their most complex business challenges. TICE includes multiple sectors: Entertainment, Media & Communications, Private Equity, and Technology.
Our IT Infrastructure consultants help clients optimize their technology infrastructure. This high performing team advises clients on all elements of their information technology infrastructure from data center solutions to IT service management. They also address areas such as networking, convergence, connectivity and collaboration, and disaster recovery.
Disaster Recovery project work may include the following:
- Developing IT strategy for BCP and Disaster Recovery
- Evaluating the technical Disaster Recovery capabilities of an IT infrastructure
- Recommending reference architecture for Disaster Recovery
- Developing the mitigation plan to improve Disaster Recovery capabilities
- Developing & implementing a Disaster Recovery Plan.
Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years in Technology (Consulting, Value Added Reseller (VAR), Fortune 500 IT Department or IT Service Management Tool Vendor)
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree
Degree(s) Preferred: Master's degree
Certification(s) Preferred: BCI, Disaster Recovery II, CFCP (Certified Functional Continuity Planner), CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Planner), MBCP (Master Business Continuity Planner)
Knowledge Preferred:
Proven extensive knowledge of Federal Disaster Recovery regulations from the OCC, FDA, FEMA, DHS and related industry standards (BS25999, ISO/IEC 24762:2008, NFPA 1600) and how these are applied to the creation, delivery, deployment and maintenance of Disaster Recovery and Operational Continuity related plans and solutions across various industry sectors.
Proven extensive knowledge of leading and managing engagement teams in a professional services and/or consulting environment that sell, deliver, deploy and maintain Disaster Recovery, Operational Continuity and general IT infrastructure engagements solutions, including:
- Leading multiple disaster recovery assessments and/or implementations including architectures and solution;
- Developing IT strategy for Business Continuity Programs and Disaster Recovery;
- Evaluating the technical Disaster Recovery capabilities of an IT Infrastructure;
- Recommending reference architecture for Disaster Recovery;
- Developing the mitigation plan to improve Disaster Recovery capabilities;
- Developing & Implementing a Disaster Recovery Plan.
Proven extensive knowledge of serving in a role as an organization's internal authority on all matters related to Disaster Recovery and related architecture including:
- Developing and expanding a Disaster Recovery solutions practice, managing and supporting the creation of proposals, RFP response documents and statements of work;
- Assessing, developing, implementing and sustaining Disaster Recovery and BIA plans and procedures;
- Confirming all systems and applications are properly categorized through the Business Continuity (BC) process and establishing that proper and respective Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) meet compliance and are applied and achieved.
Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates extensive abilities and a proven record of success as an engineer or an architect in one or more of the following areas to establish internal recovery sites are updated and functioning properly: applications, systems (Windows/Unix), storage, database, data centers, and/or networking.
Proven extensive ability to lead crisis management in the event of a business interruption including pandemic planning.
Proven extensive ability to develop strategy as well as write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently to all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management the following:
- Course materials and presentation slides, practice marketing materials, change management plans, project plans, workshops for various internal and external clients and audience levels, practice methodologies and tools, policies, procedures, whitepapers, and other communications.
- Leadership by creating a positive environment, monitoring resources and workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of the team.
Demonstrates extensive ability and a proven record of success leading client projects, and understanding clients' business and technology in order to identify, pursue, and ultimately obtain additional consulting opportunities.
Experience in enterprise environments consisting of multiple data centers supporting revenues in excess of $5B.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
