Description
The Oracle Exadata/Database Technical Architect includes responsibility for the installation, configuration, upgrading, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of databases within an Oracle Exadata architecture.
More specifically, the role includes the development and design of Exadata database strategies, system monitoring and improving Exadata database performance and capacity, and planning for future expansion requirements. They may also plan, co-ordinate and implement security measures to safeguard the database within Exadata.
Basic Qualifications
8 years of experience with Oracle databases, including knowledge of Oracle Database solutions Performance tuning, RAC, implementations, component/systems interplay. 4 years of experience as an Oracle Database Architect with a strong understanding of infrastructure Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Exadata Engineering Systems experience with Exalogic or SuperCluster Knowledge of other Database brands is a plus: SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase Very large databases and in-memory database solutions Oracle OCP or OCM certification Oracle Streams and GoldenGate Oracle Engineered Systems Architecture Setup and Configuration Migration to OES and Consolidation High Availability, MAA and DR: Real Application Clusters & Active Data Guard Diagnosability, Manageability and Operations Database Architecture Design and PL/SQL Database Installation, Configuration and Patching including RAC and OEM Database Performance Tuning Data Replication, Oracle Streams and GoldenGate Database Security, Encryption, Compression and Data Masking/Redaction Backup and Recovery, DataPump and SQL Loader Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control & Cloud Control

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
