Job Description:
The Global Independence group performs as the implementation arm of the Global Independence Leadership Team, responsible for assisting the territory independence leaders. The Global Independence functions have a direct impact on the activities of territory-level independence compliance and risk management leaders and staff. More generally, the systems and processes impact personal decisions regarding financial (investment and borrowing) activities and business decisions regarding the independence impact of prospective work and business arrangements. The Global Independence Program Management team supports end-to-end program and project management service, including input to work plans, project scope, project estimates, resources, timing, interdependencies etc. to provide and establish strategic alignment. As part of the PMO, the Product team is responsible for driving the identification, development, implementation, acceptance and integration of compliance simplification opportunities and products that support the Global Independence shared compliance responsibility strategy in the execution of day-to-day activities.
Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree Knowledge Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of project management, marketing communications and business development that will be leveraged to develop and promote product acceptance of compliance product solutions that support Global Independence programs and projects . Demonstrated knowledge of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA) independence rules. Skills Preferred: Demonstrated ability to: Identify and provide input into product enhancements or expansion opportunities. Project manage the development, execution of product solutions. Measuring the impact of firm-wide marketing communication initiatives. Manage the deployment, accessibility and lifecycle of Independence related content across all Global Independence myKcurve websites. Identify and mitigate potential risks early on and resolving issues with clients quickly. Translate strategic business goals into operational strategies and work plans. Maintain a thorough understanding of Global Independence policies and databases. Proactively identify changes in compliance requirements and take the appropriate planning measures with stakeholders and leadership to reassess solution capabilities. Communicate project status and issues to business sponsors and governing committees on a regular basis. Manage across departmental or organizational boundaries, leveraging organizational structure to project advantage. Develop and manage 3rd party vendor relationships. Articulate competing points of view and conflicts of interest; facilitate consensus - build alternatives. Communicate verbally and in writing. Effectively interface with management leadership personnel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
