Supply Chain Development Project Manager (Florham Park, NJ) (multiple positions). Execute the following duties for a logistics and freight forwarding service provider: conduct supply chain analysis, process improvement analysis, distribution network modeling, supply chain network and inventory optimization; advise Supply Chain Development (SCD) Senior Director on new business acquisitions and securing the differentiating value of the SCD product portfolio; support strategic sales and field sales in developing differentiating value propositions; develop and launch new SCD products; support senior management on strategic/Ad-hoc projects; conduct SCD training and education activities within North America (NAM); participate in client meetings selling SCD capabilities and differentiating from competitors; conduct client workshops leading to SCD projects and additional revenue streams; conduct internal workshop with various stakeholders to brainstorm the value proposition and win plan for coordination with strategic target customers; monitor, maintain, and audit commercial processes; coordinate with SCD analysts and offshore analyst team to deliver high quality projects to customers; interact with the SCD global community to work on global projects/customers. Requires: MS degree or foreign equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Development, Marketing, or a related degree and 2 years work experience in the job offered or in ocean freight forwarding related position in the transportation industry; or, in the alternative, Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Development, Marketing, or a related degree and 5 years of experience in the offered job or in ocean freight forwarding related positions in the transportation industry. Position also requires two years of experience in the transportation industry: (1) managing projects from initiation until project close out; (2) performing data analysis using MS Office tools and Data warehouse solving skills to present reporting or to develop other decision making tools related to programs or projects; and (3) performing freight forwarding. Must have one year of experience in the transportation industry using supply chain modeling tools such as Supply Chain Guru, Transportation Guru, or CAST Aurora.
