Job Description:
US Finance and Operations plays a pivotal role in implementing the firm's business strategy, drives our financial and operational performance excellence to sustain and strengthen the firm's financial well being, and provides business analytics that help extend PwC?s market competitiveness. There are ten correlated groups within Finance and Operations:Finance - Controller Operations, LOS Finance, Treasury, Partnership Tax, US Procurement, Internal Audit; Operations - Meeting & Event Services, Real Estate, Travel, SecurityThese groups manage the firm's capital monetary resources; drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting and engagement economics at the partner/business unit level; establish internal controls and processes for cost management; provide a safe and progressive workplace; and provide efficient travel and meeting space so our partners and people can profitably grow our is a centralized team responsible for the purchasing of capital, expensed equipment and services for the Firm. This team oversees vendor relationships with suppliers; reviews outsourcing arrangements; leads supplier diversity initiative; and works as a strategic advisor for other service arrangements (e.g., off-shoring, staff augmentation, etc.).The Strategy & Sourcing team is responsible for the acquisition of services and capital/expensed equipment and goods. Strategy & Sourcing serves as the relationship manager for both internal clients and suppliers by seeking appropriate solutions for all sourcing needs, creating, reviewing, and negotiating contractual arrangements through thought leadership, subject matter specialization, and strategic advising.

Experience: 5Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree or 7 years of procurement experienceSkills Preferred:Extensive experience in the development, implementation, and execution of procurement strategies.Demonstrated ability to:Write complex Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Information (RFI) in related commodity areas, in collaboration with the Procurement Legal team; incorporates Procurement template content, customer requirements, and inputs from other Finance support teams. Negotiate with customers in setting realistic, quality-driven expectations of Procurement sourcing deliverables/results. Conduct or supervise facilitation of sourcing projects of varying complexity (e.g., RFP/Q/Is) in accordance with firm guidelines. Serve as a customer group(s) main point of contact for sourcing seamless Procurement support to customer group(s) by proactively engaging the appropriate Contract Management and Maintenance leader or designee to address concerns or new bid that savings are coupled with high quality service delivery and enhanced customer access.Utilize own specific commodity knowledge and that of staff to locate and introduce the best sources of supply and services.Understand and utilize industry best practice methods and measures to enable the optimum balance of cost and quality for all endeavors. Keep up-to-date on current and emerging trends.Directly supervise others or serve in a sourcing project lead role to enable Procurement staff and/or others in the firm to contribute to the achievement of this job objective.Work effectively and in a team setting across Procurement to achieve continuous improvement/refinement. Support supplier diversity, Procure to Pay (P2P), e-business and other organizational/firm with the US Strategy & Sourcing Director and global category specialists in the implementation and execution of the Sub-Category Strategies for specified spend area. Coach and train staff in a wide variety of areas including teaming, interpersonal skills, relationship building, and business knowledge.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
