Job Description:

Our growing Health Industries Advisory practice provides management, technology and risk consulting services to help healthcare institutions around the world to anticipate and address their most complex business challenges. Our practitioners are supported by a dedicated health research unit, which is managed by a physician partner and provides our clients with cutting-edge intelligence, perspective, and analysis on issues transforming the health industry. Our professionals have deep health industry expertise and include physicians, nurses, system specialists, health policy analysts, actuaries, financial advisors, and data analysts. The Healthcare Advisory practice is aligned across: Healthcare Provider, Healthcare Payers, and Pharmaceutical and Life Science. Our Operations consultants help clients realize competitive advantage from operations. This high performing team translates business strategy into operations strategy and transforms operations to drive both growth and profitability. Specific areas of focus include global footprint and network design, product innovation and development, sales and operations planning, procurement and sourcing, manufacturing operations, service operations, logistics, and capital programs. The Supply Chain team provides consulting services in the area of strategy and tactician of supply chain improvement, advising companies in some of the following areas: - inventory management, purchased services & supply utilization -operational review of materials management; - acquisition price savings; - negotiating contracts -redesigning logistical methodology from suppliers and clients; - improving overall efficiency and effectiveness of purchasing departments; - implementing automated supply delivery -strategizing on planning and organizing material management operations; - policy and procedures on supply management initiatives assessment and implementation of Operating Room resource initiatives.
Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of
Experience: 7 Minimum Degree Required: Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health or Health Administration. Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management or Industrial Engineering Certification(s) Preferred: Certified Material and Resource Professional (CMRP) Knowledge Preferred: Demonstrated and proven thorough knowledge of supply chain within the Healthcare Industry in one or more of the following roles (or similar roles): associate director or manager of clinical resource management, distribution and inventory, procure to pay or contracting and sourcing. Demonstrated and proven thorough knowledge and experience supporting leadership the development of budgets, financial management and staff. Demonstrated and proven thorough experience producing white papers or publishing in journals on the topic of supply chain management. Membership in one or more of the National organizations preferred: Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Association for Healthcare Resources and Material Management (AHRMM), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Skills Preferred: Demonstrated and proven through experience and exposure to driving the supply chain process in three or more of the following skill sets: process review, redesign and implementation, productivity and efficiency, clinical resource management / value analysis, distribution or distributor assessment, distributor recommendation and optimization, in sourcing / outsourcing assessment, purchase services review and assessment, contracting non-labor cost reduction, inventory and par management, account payable invoice discrepancy management, supply chain IT, technology assessment and optimization, GPO assessment, GPO selection and optimization, capital asset management, and, analysis and communication; a specialty in pharmacy supply chain or preoperative supply chain is preferred. Thorough experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials. Thorough experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
