The team provides multiple services related to security and controls assessment, design, recommendation and configuration of EPIC:-Assessing, recommending and configuring financial and operational controls around the application-Pre- and post-implementation (major upgrade) assurance reviews-Project assurance services (including gate reviews)-Application security and segregation of duties-Assessing, recommending and configurations and add-on technologies-Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA readiness and controls optimization services -Utilization of existing EPIC functionality to replace / enhance manual controls
Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years of EPIC controls auditing, consulting and/or implementing. Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor‚EUR(TM)s degree in Computer Science or Business Minimum Degree Required Major: Computer Science / Management Information Systems / Accounting or related business fieldsCertification(s) Required: EPIC certified Degree(s) Preferred: Master‚EUR(TM)s degree in Computer Science or Business Preferred Degree Major: Computer Science / Management Information Systems / Accounting or related business fields Certification(s) Preferred: CISA/CIA/CPAKnowledge Preferred: Demonstrates proven expertise of, and success in roles driving, EPICs core financial modules, project management, and other health industry software applications, emphasizing understanding of the following areas:-Security and control (including configuration) for EPIC applications and/or technologies;-Design, implementation, and/or assessment of controls, including an intimate understanding of the systems implementation lifecycle, as well as configuring and optimizing business process controls and application security;-Business processes related to core EPIC modules, with significant hands-on knowledge and experienceDemonstrates intimate knowledge of success managing in a professional services firm or large enterprise, with prior success as a consultant, auditor or business process specialist; Demonstrates proven expertise and success with identifying and obtaining new service opportunities and taking the opportunities through the sales cycle, including the following:-Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and billing and collection-Identifying and addressing client needs, including developing and sustaining extensive client relationships -Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation. Skills Preferred:Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success with facilitating staff and managers as they perform assessments to evaluate controls, security, SOD, and potential for optimization as well as implementation and/or configuration of EPIC products, including the following areas:-Understanding clients' businesses, industries and technologies as it pertains to leading and driving the project management lifecycle for EPIC-related projects, including developing project plans, budgets, and deliverables schedules; -Collaborating directly with systems integrators in developing business requirements and business controls in EPIC related implementations; -Identifying key risks and controls, knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley readiness, controls optimization, as well as configuration of controls around security, business process and within EPIC; -Developing thought leadership and sharing lead practices on EPIC risk and controls, and the various configuration;-Leading teams by creating a positive environment, monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations, and respecting the work-life quality of team members. This includes providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner and keeping leadership informed of progressDemonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success with using negotiation and persuasion skills to sell potential new service opportunities, including a proven track record with identifying and converting potential engagement opportunities and developing market presence.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
