Seeking a Production Support Analyst, Florham Park, NJ, Contract.
BridgeView IT is seeking a Production Support Analyst. The role is located in Florham Park, NJ. It is a contract opportunity. The Production Support Analystwill provide top-tier support of high-volume, client accessible payroll systems. He/She will troubleshoot data, functional and process issues and provide support to 3rdlevel support engineering team
Required Skills/Responsibilities:
Ensures maximum issue resolutions in minimum time
Works as a member of the production support team, picks up issues from ticketing system, researches/replicates issues and provides resolution or refers research data to Development for review
Follows up with 3rd level on on-going issues and stays abreast of all application functionality, workflow and dataflow to ensure efficient identification of issues
Communicates effectively with business contacts as well as technical staff
Understanding of ticketing systems, SQL Server scripting, payroll systems and workflow, web browser technologies, and troubleshooting tools (Browser Stack, Fiddler, Stack Trace, etc.)
Payroll processing
Web Applications/understanding and following application workflow
SQL Server/ creating simple queries and understanding data flow
Browser technologies
Technical troubleshooting (reading stack traces, using Fiddler, etc)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
