PRINCIPLE JOB DUTIES
Manage and oversee Veritas business for ZTS
Act as business manager and provide a single point of communications and accountability for internal and external stake holders
Manage, oversee and report on Veritas P&L; performance, including sales planning, expense management and implementing the appropriate contingencies for efficient business delivery.
Maintain and enhance the established Veritas business model and all relevant SOPs in collaboration with business partners (internal and external)
Maintain SOPs for Operations (including pricing and payment processes), Customer Service, Content Project Teams (step-by-step template for course development by tier), CE, content obsolescence - collaboration with Business Operations, e-Marketing, Finance, founding partners
Maintain site management/administration rules, in collaboration with ZTS MCM team. If necessary, determine and call for bids for vendor selection
Implement and enhance go-to-market strategy for Veritas for, including, branding, marketing and promotion
Maintain Individual Course Work launch template, including targeting, promotion, pricing and metrics
Develop standards for all metrics and measurements of programs and departmental effectiveness
Develop departmental quarterly report that summarizes all L&D; activities, outcomes, and effectiveness
Develop and revise Veritas 3-year growth plan (Operating Plan)
Serve as a single point or communication and accountability for Veritas within ZTS and with external stakeholders. Lead a virtual team of Program Directors ( coordinate all activities and provide consistent, transparent and aligned support of partner academic institutions to augment and deliver on strategic plan
Working Committee: Content Oversight
Maintain project/content proposal guideline, in collaboration with WC co-chairs
Continuously assess the needs and educational gaps (medical and management) within the profession. When applicable, bring forward proposal, including required resources to meet the needs/fill the gaps identified, following WC guidelines for project/content submission
Course Work Development
Oversee and allocate work to project teams; provide guidance and leadership to all program development teams
Manage all program development within timelines and budget
Ensure that all programs meet defined objectives and expectations. Furthermore, ensure that content, objectives, authorship and contributions are leveraging efficiencies appropriately
Business Management & Growth
Manage e-learning budget; regularly appraise Supervisor and Group Director Veterinary Medical Services of status. Collaborate with partners and vendors to ensure efficient resource utilization; collaborate with Finance to track expenses
Align across ZTS to ensure access to content and materials developed in other divisions and ad hoc contributing partners
Develop ZTS network to evaluate and operationalize global growth potential for e-learning business. Leverage existing relationships with local/regional partners, align across ZTS regional strategic road map
Develop and effectively lead multiple vendor relationships to develop and produce learning resources of the highest professional quality
Compliance
Ensure all deliverables are in compliance with appropriate ZTS SOPs
Align across ZTS and ensure that author and CVM relationships are compliant with ZTS AHPIP and Key Influencer Management process
Ensure compliance with Financial, credit, copyright and RACE SOPs
Position Development
Continuously develop knowledge of virtual initiatives and adjacent space business opportunities with ZTS
Establish and maintain a successful and actionable link between Veritas and ZTS US Operations
Maintain ongoing communication and alignment with ZTS Business Operations to ensure information flow (as allowable by law) between e-learning and EDGE
Report, as needed, on customer insights gained from EDGE link, to relevant ZTS stakeholders, as well as CVM partners
ADMNISTRATIVE ROLE
Thoroughly track and report all activities, investments, revenue and profit for the e-learning business
Maintain database with detailed information of existing content, authors and pending content, in addition to CE credits, obsolescence, etc.
Develop and report on e-learning metrics on a monthly basis to Supervisor and quarterly to Group Director VMS
MATRIX MANAGEMENT
Work collaboratively with CVM Founding Partners, Program Directors and ZTS stakeholders to ensure that the programs and course work are effectively produced and launched
Manage all Project Teams for on-time, high quality execution

REQUIRED JOB RELATED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
(Education, Experience, Skills)
Bachelor''s Degree required. Degree in Business Management/Marketing, Education, Life Sciences, Medical or Veterinary fields a plus.
Strong marketing capabilities and skills and experience in meeting and/or exceeding target budget
Strong understanding of curriculum development processes and application to business program development
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, computer and technical skills)
Excellent judgment in conflict management, negotiation and influence; ability to handle non-routine issues with external parties in completing daily work activities
Demonstrated strategic directional thinking skills
Proven leadership ability: Demonstrated ability to interface effectively at all levels of an organization to organize events, learning programs, or to develop learning materials to support products, product launches, or to sustain knowledge in a large business or organization
Proven ability to exert influence without authority
Executive presence and dynamic presentation skills required
Excellent, project management experience, time and relation management capabilities, and vendor management are essential
Demonstrated relationship building strength, organizational skills and matrix management
Financial experience including budgetary management
PREFFERED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree in Business (MBA), Education, Life Science, Medical or Veterinary fields
Three (3) years or more experience in pharmaceutical industry and/or animal health industry experience
Working knowledge of Corporate Learning and Development and/or curriculum development.
