A leader in government telecommunications and network integration, is seeking a Network Security Software Engineer for the Florham Park, NJ location.

Perform research, design and software development in various aspects of general IP network security for classified programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Research solutions to challenging cyber security and
networking problems.
Design, implement and unit test software solutions.
Identify and evaluate security strengths and weaknesses.
Identify, create, and propose new research projects.
Travel to other locations or customer sites as necessary.
Understand and adhere to all Ethical and Compliance policies & proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to policies and procedures.
Obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level to perform the job.
Required Skills:
0-2 years related experience.
Basic computer science and/or networking skills, which may include knowledge in IP networking, cyber security and software development.
Software development skills in current languages such as JAVA, C++, Python, Ruby, PHP, Javascript, etc.
Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required.
Other Requirements (desired) include:
Understanding of network hardware, systems, and software applications.
Experience managing, designing/upgrading and administering a network in a lab environment would be a plus.
Knowledge of Internet routing techniques protocols and tools.
Understanding of network security

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
