Veterinary Center of Morris County is a growing veterinary practice looking for a Hospital Office Manager.
The Hospital Office Manager represents the mission, vision and core values of the hospital to our staff and clients, and works in conjunction with the entire management team to provide daily leadership to the hospital.

The Hospital Office Manager coordinates the overall operations of the administrative staff and strives to cultivate a supportive and collaborative team environment by fostering cohesion and motivation.
Some of the essential job functions of this position:
The Hospital Office Manager, in conjunction with the entire management team, leads the hospital staff to strive for operational excellence and efficiency, and to provide the highest standard of patient and client care.
Creates productive, collaborative and seamless relationships with all staff to drive a positive culture and cohesive team environment.
Be the point person for all day-to-day functions of the practice including, but not limited to - veterinary and support staff scheduling, equipment function and facility maintenance, inventory control, supply ordering, proper invoicing, patient scheduling, team training, and handling elevated client concerns.
Oversees the hiring, training, reviewing, mentoring/coaching, assignment delegation, and separation (when needed) of CSR staff.
Oversees the scheduling for all CSR staff, while operating in accordance with VCMC's employment, punctuality and attendance policies.
Manages staff or client concerns, escalating these concerns to the practice manager and/or owner as appropriate, while keeping escalation to a minimum.
Schedules appointments, provides client education, assists in the maintenance and updating hospital inventory (as appropriate), maintains client/patient records within the practice management system, and manages accounts receivable.
Provides general human resources support to all employees while working in unison with contracted providers of health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, COBRA benefits, 401k, worker compensation insurance, payroll, etc.
Provides backup CSR support as needed based on caseload and appointment schedule in order to maintain excellent patient care, customer service and support to our medical staff.
Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:

years previous experience working in a veterinary practice in a leadership position.
In lieu of veterinary experience, applicants must have 5
years of strong leadership and management experience.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional and polite etiquette in person and over the phone.
Demonstrate a strong ability to make decisions, delegate tasks and responsibilities in a timely fashion to allow the hospital to provide the highest level of patient and client care.
Demonstrate compassion and sympathy while being able to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor during emotional and stressful situations.
Be a team player willing to continue learning, offer creative ideas and accept continual change.
Seek out opportunities to expand the knowledge base of all CSR staff through in house training and continuing education.
Demonstrate confidence, flexibility and resilience in problem solving, navigating ambiguity or uncertainty, and resourcefully adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
Comfortable working with technology including Microsoft Office, cloud based practice management software, internet phones, etc.
The duties of this position are conducted in the hospital.
This position may necessitate bending, kneeling, lifting (of up to 30 pounds), and standing for long periods of time.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
