1.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
2.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
3.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
4.
Provides clerical support to the HR department.
5.
Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
6.
Conducts or assists with new hire process to include Offer Letters and pre-employment background check and drug screening of candidates.
7.
Administers and maintains the student internship programs.
8.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
9.
Process all changes of status including transfers and terminations.
10.
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
11.
Administers new hire and annual required compliance trainings for the entire organization's workforce.
12.
Performs other duties as required or directed.
13.
Maintains strictest confidentiality.
